Hi, Roma.
My first question about Ukrainian Championship. Will you show some pictures? Which model you presented? Result?
Second question about blocks. I see you made sheaves for each block. Is it necessary?

Thank You for your questiions.
In Ukrainian Championship I have presented Xebeck Le Requin (without masts and riggings) and receive 98 pionts. Detailed information and photoes will be presented by Hamedal, who wisited the Championship.
Second question is very interesting and compromising. To make sheaves for each pulley or not. First of all it depends from builder. Of caurse it is possible to make sheaves for each block, but is it necessary?
My point of view is following:
- Scale. If you build model at scale 1/48 and bigger better to make sheaves for each pulley exept smallest (for cannons for example).
- Tipe of vessel. Above mantioned related to vessel like xebeck, galley, tartana which have not many (100- 150) pulleys, moustly intricate constructions. If you build big vessel like Poltava, Panteleymon-Victoria, San Felippe, etc. which have hunreds-thousands pulleys better to use method, presented by Hamedal for simple blocks. For difficult pulleys like violinas, other big blocks necessary to make sheaves.
- Purpose of making model. For sale or for competitions or for pleasure.
It will be very interesting to hear opinion others members of MSW about this question.
