Traditional Protuguese boats
The traditional Portuguese fragata boats were used on the Tagus River and at the Atlantic coast for transport till the 20th century. They supplied wine, salt, cork, fruits and vegetable and often carried passengers, too. A 25 m boat could load 75 t. Today some of the boats are used as tourist attraction.
