Dear friends!
First of all I would like to congratulate all members of MSW and their families on Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Besides, I would like to express my gratitude to Hamedal for his recommendation to join MSW.
I'll try to answer all your questions in written form or presenting photos.
I started working with Le Requin in April, 2007 and I hope to finish the model by the European Championship in Timishoara (Romania) in June, 2009.
Taking into consideration the fact that the model is made in C3 class, I will present it at the Ukrainian Championship in Nikolaev in April, 2009.
As to the question of Hamedal concerning the wood that was used, I used:
- dech - quince-tree
- frames - pear-tree
- side of a ship - apple tree
- decor - box-tree, etc.
I don't use paints, but I cover all the finished details with Wax-Oil "OSMO" for parquet, because it conveys the natural colour of the wood and makes the wood stronger.

我于2007年4月开始制作Le Requin，我希望2009年6月在Timishoara（罗马尼亚）的欧洲锦标赛前完成模型。
考虑到该模型是C3类的，我将带它参加2009年4月在乌克兰的尼古拉耶夫锦标赛。
至于Hamedal的关于使用木材的问题，我用：
- 甲板是温柏木
- 肋骨是梨木的
- 船一边是苹果木的
- 雕刻是黄杨木的
我不使用油漆，但我用"OSMO（欧诗木）"木蜡油（用在镶木地板）覆盖所有完成的细节，因为它传达了木材的自然色，并使得木材更结实。

大家觉得苹果木的效果如何，我们这可有不少苹果树啊！
"OSMO" 中文叫“欧诗木”，是德国的木蜡油品牌，应该指的不是地板蜡[sbsbs]

木蜡油的主要用途就是地板和家居装饰，在欧洲家居装饰材料要求极为严格，苯含量要求为0，所以欧洲是不用化工类漆的。
