The model is 100% scratch built, made out of chestnut wood, custom made, 1-of- a-kind…  
The scale of this ship is 1/96 so it would be 168’ long x 42’wide, and draws 21’ of water.  The model is 27” long x 12” wide, and 25” high mid-ship.  And 5 different deck levels, plank-on-frame construction.  Total work hours on the model, 1,175, and about 10,000 pieces.  About 61’ of rigging.

Bowsprit Gammoning: Shows the bowsprit cleats, gammon cleats, gammoning knee, gammoning, wooldings, and bowsprit fairlead saddle.

Top Spritsail Yard: Shows some of the blocks that are stropped over the top spritsail yard. These are called the lift blocks, and under the yard is the clue garnet block.

Main Mast
主桅

Jeer Blocks, Lower Yard: Shows the jeer blocks stropped over the lower yard in between the cleats. Shows the trestle-trees, cross-trees, and the eye bolts for the futtock shrouds. On the lower yard it shows the leech line blocks on top, and the clue garnet and topsail sheet blocks on the bottom of the yard.
Jeer滑轮，下桁：夹板之间环绕在下桁上的Jeer滑轮。树状支架，树状十字及为连接上下桅的铁索的眼螺栓。在下桁上，显示了桅楼上的帆端上拉索滑轮，clue garnet，及桁下部的上桅帆滑轮。

Main Mast Top Looking down on the main mast top, you can see through the lubber hole, and the dead-eyes. Shows the lift blocks, jeer blocks, leech line blocks, eye-lets for the jack-stay, boom irons, and the cleats on the lower main mast yard.

Top Mast Shroud: Shows the shrouds, sails, leech line blocks.

Dead-eyes: Shows the laniards on the dead-eyes.

Main Shrouds: Shows the Main-topsail with the wind in the sails. I mix water, Elmers glue, and a little Antique white Acrylic paint together. Then I dip the sail in the mixture, then take it out and lay it on a piece of tin the size of the sail, then shape it into a sail, then put it in the oven on warm until hard.

Main-Shrouds: Shows the shrouds put over the mast head.

Lateen Yard & Cross-Jack Yard: Shows the blocks stropped to the Mizen Mast. On the upper part of the lateen yard, is the peak, middle, and throat brial block. On the lower part of the lateen yard is the foot brial blocks. Also shows the Mizen parrel for the lateen yard.

Fore Mast

Fore Mast Lower Yard: Shows the blocks on the lower yard, the yards are the same as the main mast yards. The blocks on the lower yard, from left to right are as follows: lift block and brace block, which has not been put over the yard arm as of yet, leech line blocks, clue garnet blocks, topsail sheet blocks, and then the jeer blocks. The same on the other side of the yard.
